2. Leak at heater connection or plug2. Repair or replace.
3. Damaged cylinder head gasket3. Replace gasket. Check engine oil and refill as necessary.
4. Cracked cylinder block.4. Replace cylinder block. Check engine oil in crankcase for mixing with water.
5. Cracked cylinder head.5. Replace cylinder head.
6. Loose cylinder head bolts6. Tighten cylinder head bolts.
Poor circulation1. Restriction in system1. Check hoses for crimping. Clear the system of rust and sludge.
2. Insufficient coolant2. Replenish.
3. Inoperative water pump3. Replace water pump.
4. Loose fan belt4. Adjust fan belt.
5. Inoperative thermostat5. Replace thermostat.
Corrosion1. Excessive impurity in water1. Use soft, clean water.
2. Infrequent flushing and draining of system2. Flush thoroughly at least twice a year.
Overheating1. Inoperative thermostat1. Replace thermostat
2. Radiator fin choked with mud, leaves etc.2. Clean out air passage.
